Friends,
Years have a way of ending before one has time to put into action even a small part of the New Year resolutions. Updating the website regularly is one such resolution that has been languishing. However, although late I have glad tidings. Sshrishti’s two centres in Delhi has been running successfully and last year Sshrishti has ventured into the field of bridging the digital divide that exists in our rural hinterlands.
In August 2008 we opened out first rural computer centre in village Surana in Rajasthan and in January ’09 we stepped into Haryana and opened the second computer centre in village Patauda. These two centres are making almost 800 children computer literate. We want to add many more centres and want your help in this. Please donate your old computers (in working conditions only) and money towards the salary of a teacher and maintenance of the centre.
What a difference this will make!
Please do make time to visit us at our centres, we promise you a hundred heartwarming smiles.
Thank you all for your interest and support.
Warm wishes
