Sshrishti’s concerns are children, the children who live in poverty in slum clusters of our cities, deprived of basic right to education. These children mostly belong to the families of migrant labourers who come to the city to earn a living. Because of the lifestyle of their families who often shuttle between their native village and the city, the children miss out on regular schooling and mostly drop out and become child workers. Sshrishti brings joys of childhood to these underserved children and offers them a chance to realize their potentials. The children are taught basic life skills and introduced value based education. After creating a strong foundation in their early years, they are mainstreamed into the government or privately run schools and encouraged to continue with their education.
